FUERTEVENTURA (Islas Canarias)

Hoy os hablaré de la Isla de Fuerteventura (En las Islas Canarias). El pasado mes de septiembre tuve la ocasión de visitar esta Isla llena de contrastes. La capital de la isla es Puerto del Rosario, pero nosotras (Lidia y yo) nos quedamos en Corralejo, en el norte. Esta localidad es principalmente turística, pero también es un pueblo pesquero. Posee una gran avenida llena de comercios, y además de sus playas, tiene un parque acuático. Como os podéis imaginar, la oferta hotelera es excelente y de todos los precios. Las playas no son muy grandes, pero a dos kilómetros puedes disfrutar de una de las playas más bonitas que he visto jamás, con el agua azul turquesa y transparente. Se puede ir perfectamente desde Corralejo en los autobuses municipales, y a muy buen precio. Pero lo que más llama la atención son las dunas que hay al otro lado de la carretera, que actúa como línea divisoria entre éstas y la playa. ¡Realmente asombroso! Cerquita de Corralejo hay un pueblo costero llamado "El Cotillo", que tiene unas playas muy bonitas y tranquilas. En fin..., os dejo unas fotos que hice cuando visitamos esta Isla tan especial. Let´s talk about Fuerteventura´S Island today. Last September I had the opportunity to visit this Beautiful Island full of contrasts. The capital of the island is "Puerto del Rosario", but we (Lidia and I) stayed at "Corralejo", in the north. This is a mainly touristic place, but fishing too. It has a main street, full of shops, bars and restaurants. You can enjoy at the aquatic park also. As you can imagine, every touristic place has lot of hotels and apartments for the visitors. Well, Corralejo is not the exception, so you can find easily the one that you are looking for. Beaches in Corralejo are not very big, but two kilometres away from Corralejo, you can find one of the largest beaches with transparent and turquese water. The public transport is very good, so you can reach this beach easily and at a very good price. But the most incredible thing is the dune park that you find by the sea. It is located next to the road that leads to this beach. It is amazing!
Very near to Corralejo there is also a coast village called "El Cotillo", famous for its quiet and beautiful beaches. You can´t miss it if you visit this special Island.
